Job Description
As an Occupational Therapy Aide, you will play a crucial role in supporting therapists in delivering physical and occupational therapy services. You will assist patients during their rehabilitation while providing comfort and support.
Responsibilities
Support therapists in implementing treatment plans.
Assist with patient intake and discharge processes.
Maintain records of patient treatment sessions.
Help ensure the therapy environment is safe and welcoming.
Communicate effectively with patients about their therapy sessions.
Participate in quality assurance activities.
Support in training new staff and students as needed.
Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to enhance patient outcomes.
Requirements
Education
Certificate in Physiotherapy Aide or equivalent
CPR and First Aid certification
Experience
Previous experience in a healthcare or therapy setting is advantageous.
