Job Description

As a First-Line Supervisor of Production and Operating Workers, you will oversee the daily operations in the beater room, ensuring that production runs smoothly and efficiently. You'll lead a dedicated team, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards while striving for continuous improvement in our manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily production meetings to discuss targets and performance.
  • Evaluate employee performance and provide constructive feedback.
  • Coordinate with upper management to align production goals.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the work area.
  • Develop and implement training programs for career advancement.
  • Maintain accurate records of production and inventory.
  • Support the implementation of Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Engage in continuous process improvement initiatives.
  • Encourage employee suggestions for improving workflow.
  • Act as a liaison between upper management and the production team.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in Manufacturing or Engineering is preferable
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field is a plus
Experience
  • 7+ years in a manufacturing role with at least 3 years in a supervisory capacity.
