Job Description

As a Machine Guide Base Winder, you will be responsible for the set-up, operation, and maintenance of machine guide base winders, working diligently to ensure they meet safety standards and production goals. Your attention to detail and technical skills will be essential as you monitor machine performance and troubleshoot when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Set up winding machines for production runs and ensure correct settings.
• Perform quality checks on finished products and troubleshoot irregularities.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area adhering to safety standards.
• Help train new operators in machine operations and safety protocols.
• Document all maintenance and repair tasks to maintain compliance.
• Actively participate in team meetings to discuss process improvements.
• Assist in the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.
• Respond promptly to machine breakdowns to minimize downtime.
• Ensure that production targets and timelines are met consistently.
• Support the production manager in daily operations as needed.

Requirements

Education

• Trade qualification in a relevant technical field (desirable)

Experience

• Experience working with textile machinery (desirable)
