Tool and Die Maker

Job Description

As a Tool and Die Maker, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process, responsible for finishing dies used in the production of metals and plastics. You will apply various finishing techniques to ensure the dies meet high specifications and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Finish dies using processes such as grinding, sanding, and polishing to achieve the required surface finish and dimensional accuracy.
• Operate CNC machine tools to ensure precise finishing.
• Report any faults or defects in die production to the Production Manager.
• Contribute to team efforts in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure all work is completed to the highest standard, following established protocols and procedures.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade (Fitter and Turner)
• Relevant diploma in manufacturing or related field is preferred

Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in die-casting or injection molding industry.

• Knowledge of Finishing Techniques

Languages

• English: Fluent
