Job Description

We are searching for a passionate Children's Choir Director to lead our talented young singers aged 6-12. This position involves conducting weekly rehearsals, guiding performances, and fostering a love for music among children. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in music education, with the ability to inspire and motivate young learners.

Responsibilities

• Design a systematic choral curriculum tailored to different age groups and skill levels.
• Conduct engaging and effective rehearsals, focusing on vocal techniques and musicality.
• Encourage creativity by incorporating various musical styles and genres into the repertoire.
• Actively participate in community events, promoting the choir and its mission.
• Implement performance strategies to help children overcome stage fright and build confidence.
• Foster a love for music through interactive and fun learning experiences.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Music Education or a similar discipline is preferred

Experience

• 5 years or more experience in leading children's choirs.

Technical Skills

• Vocal Coaching

Certifications

• Kodály or Orff Training

Languages

• English: Fluent
