Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Mining and Geological Engineer with a strong background in mining safety and operations. You will be responsible for developing and implementing safety protocols, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor safety management systems.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of mining facilities.
• Analyze data to identify trends in safety incidents.
• Create and maintain comprehensive safety documentation.
• Lead safety training workshops for staff.
• Assess the effectiveness of safety initiatives and recommend improvements.
• Coordinate with engineering teams on safety-related designs.
• Participate in external audits and inspections.
• Prepare reports for management on safety performance metrics.
• Enhance safety culture within the organization.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Safety Engineering or Geological Engineering
• Higher qualifications in relevant fields are preferred

Experience

• At least 5 years' experience in mining safety or geological engineering roles
