Job Description

As a Body Fitter at our renowned auto repair shop, you will play a critical role in repairing and fitting body parts of various vehicles. We seek a highly skilled individual with a keen eye for detail and a passion for automotive excellence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections and provide accurate assessments of body damage.
• Perform repairs using tools and machinery safely and efficiently.
• Utilize AutoCAD software for precise measurements when needed.
• Ensure all repairs are aligned with company quality standards.
• Work with Paint Technicians to prepare vehicles for painting.
• Assist in managing inventory and tools in the workshop.
• Train new team members on repair techniques and safety practices.
• Resolve customer concerns and provide exceptional service.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss job progress and improvements.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in body repair techniques.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Automotive Body Repair Technology or equivalent

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in body fitting or a related field
