Job Description
The Aviation Neuropsychologist will assess the cognitive and emotional states of pilots and aviation personnel to ensure their fitness for duty. You will provide evaluations, consultations, and ongoing support in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
Utilise various neuropsychological testing tools for assessments.
Interpret assessment results and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss cases.
Implement strategies for risk management concerning mental health.
Develop community outreach programmes related to aviation safety.
Assist in the training of new staff in neuropsychological practices.
Monitor ongoing case progress and make necessary adjustments.
Foster relationships with industry experts to share knowledge.
Requirements
Education
Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology preferred
Certification in neuropsychology is an asset.
Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in neuropsychology or clinical settings
