Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Installation, Maintenance, and Repair Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for repairing and maintaining fabric awnings, ensuring high-quality standards and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install new awning systems according to specifications.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on all awning installations.
• Train junior staff in best practices for awning repair and installation.
• Document all repairs and installations for client records and warranty purposes.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Upholstery, Textile Fabrication or equivalent

Experience

• Minimum 2 years experience in fabric awning repair

Technical Skills

• Attention to detail
• Manual dexterity
• Knowledge of hardware and fittings

Soft Skills

• Strong problem-solving skills
• Effective communication skills

Certifications

• Working at Heights certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in welding and metalwork: Useful for repairing metal fittings and structures related to awnings.
• Experience in upholstery and furniture repair: Experience beneficial for customizing awning fabrics.
