Job Description

As a Civil Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and overseeing construction projects in Geelong. Your expertise will help ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. You will collaborate closely with architects, contractors, and various stakeholders to create efficient and sustainable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design sustainable and cost-effective civil engineering solutions.
• Work closely with local government to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Draft and review project documentation and technical specifications.
• Conduct field studies and data collection to inform project designs.
• Engage in strategic planning for long-term infrastructure development.
• Coordinate activities of various contractors and subcontractors.
• Identify project obstacles and implement solutions promptly.
• Prepare project schedules and ensure timely completion of milestones.
• Support project close-out processes and documentation.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or similar
• Higher education or specialisation in Civil Engineering is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in the field of civil engineering

• Civil 3D
• Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
• Traffic Engineering Software

Certifications

• Registered Civil Engineer
