Job Description

As a Civil Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and overseeing construction projects in Geelong. Your expertise will help ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. You will collaborate closely with architects, contractors, and various stakeholders to create efficient and sustainable solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute civil engineering plans for multiple projects.
  • Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and local authorities.
  • Prepare cost estimates, proposals, and project timelines.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments.
  • Oversee project execution to ensure quality and adherence to design specifications.
  • Evaluate and recommend materials and construction methods.
  • Assist in the preparation of technical reports and documentation.
  • Mentor junior engineers and support project teams.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or similar
  • Higher education or specialisation in Civil Engineering is a plus
Experience
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in the field of civil engineering
