Signal Supervisor

Job Description

Join our team as a Signal Supervisor, where you will lead operations for signal systems within the transportation industry. Your leadership and attention to detail will be paramount in ensuring safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the safe operation of railway signalling systems.
• Manage signal technicians and maintenance staff performance.
• Conduct regular inspections of signalling equipment, reporting faults.
• Provide technical support to train controllers and team members.
• Assist in developing signalling plans and procedures.
• Ensure all safety regulations and company policies are adhered to.
• Document issues and outages for future analysis and improvement.
• Train new team members on systems and safety protocols.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate IV in Transport and Logistics (Rail Operations) or equivalent
• Current NSW driver's license

Experience

• At least 3-5 years of experience in signal systems operations

Advantageous

• Experience in budget management: Experience managing budgets for projects or departments related to signal systems.
• Familiarity with industry regulations: Understanding of Australian transport and railway regulations.
