Job Description
Join our team as a Signal Supervisor, where you will lead operations for signal systems within the transportation industry. Your leadership and attention to detail will be paramount in ensuring safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities
Supervise the safe operation of railway signalling systems.
Manage signal technicians and maintenance staff performance.
Conduct regular inspections of signalling equipment, reporting faults.
Provide technical support to train controllers and team members.
Assist in developing signalling plans and procedures.
Ensure all safety regulations and company policies are adhered to.
Document issues and outages for future analysis and improvement.
Train new team members on systems and safety protocols.
Requirements
Education
Certificate IV in Transport and Logistics (Rail Operations) or equivalent
Current NSW driver's license
Experience
At least 3-5 years of experience in signal systems operations
Advantageous
Experience in budget management: Experience managing budgets for projects or departments related to signal systems.
Familiarity with industry regulations: Understanding of Australian transport and railway regulations.
