SEO Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a passionate SEO Specialist to join our growing team in Coffs Harbour. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective SEO strategies to improve our online presence and drive high-quality traffic to our websites. You will work closely with content creators, web developers, and marketing teams to optimise on-page elements, conduct keyword research, and analyse performance metrics using tools such as Google Analytics and SEMrush.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough technical audits of websites to identify SEO issues.
• Advise on content marketing strategies and SEO content production.
• Develop comprehensive SEO strategies that align with client goals.
• Utilise analytics tools to track success and prepare performance reports.
• Assist in training team members on SEO best practices.
• Work with social media teams to leverage synergies between SEO and social engagement.
• Create and maintain a list of SEO resources, tools, and insights for the team.
• Report directly to management on SEO project progress and results.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Digital Marketing or related field
• Master's degree in Marketing is preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in SEO and digital marketing

Technical Skills

• Google Search Console
• Content Management Systems (CMS)

Soft Skills

• Critical Thinking
• Project Management

Certifications

• HubSpot Inbound Marketing Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with A/B testing: Ability to set up and evaluate A/B tests for website optimisation.
• Familiarity with schema markup: Understanding of structured data to enhance search visibility.
