Job Description

As a Drying Supervisor, you will oversee the drying processes for various materials in a manufacturing environment. You will ensure all operations meet quality standards and timelines while leading a team of technicians.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and organise the drying process to meet production targets while ensuring compliance with quality regulations.
  • Conduct routine checks on drying equipment and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Train and mentor staff on best practices and safety protocols.
  • Implement standard operating procedures for drying processes.
  • Analyse data to identify trends and areas for improvement in efficiency.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives across the production team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve overall operational goals.
  • Ensure that the team meets production deadlines consistently.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment for all staff.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Further education in food science or engineering is advantageous
Experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in supervisory roles within food manufacturing.
