Job Description
As a Drying Supervisor, you will oversee the drying processes for various materials in a manufacturing environment. You will ensure all operations meet quality standards and timelines while leading a team of technicians.
Responsibilities
Plan and organise the drying process to meet production targets while ensuring compliance with quality regulations.
Conduct routine checks on drying equipment and implement corrective actions as needed.
Train and mentor staff on best practices and safety protocols.
Implement standard operating procedures for drying processes.
Analyse data to identify trends and areas for improvement in efficiency.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives across the production team.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve overall operational goals.
Ensure that the team meets production deadlines consistently.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment for all staff.
Requirements
Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Further education in food science or engineering is advantageous
Experience
At least 3 years of experience in supervisory roles within food manufacturing.
