Responsibilities

• Interpreting design specifications to determine the size and shape of the leather to be cut.
• Selecting and setting up cutting equipment, such as cutters, scissors, and knives.
• Operating cutting equipment safely and efficiently.
• Sorting and organizing cut leather pieces for sewing and quality control.
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area.
• Participating in quality checks to ensure high standards are met.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in garment production or leatherwork is desirable

Experience

• 2-3 years of experience in cutting and repairing leather goods
