Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our nursing team in Bendigo. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, applying clinical skills, and working collaboratively with a diverse healthcare team to support optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assess and triage patients upon admission and throughout their stay.
• Educate patients about medication use and potential side effects.
• Act as a patient advocate in the decision-making process regarding their care.
• Ensure adherence to ethical and legal standards in nursing practice.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to coordinate care.
• Be involved in staff training and development programs.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
• Monitor compliance with regulatory standards.
• Engage in community health initiatives and outreach programs.
• Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and families.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (or equivalent)

Experience

• Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration and at least 3 years of clinical experience preferred.

• Wound Care Management

Certifications

• CPR Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
