Fire Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Fire Engineer to help design and evaluate fire protection systems. This role requires a deep understanding of fire dynamics and the ability to effectively communicate technical information to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design fire safety systems tailored to specific project needs.
• Evaluate existing fire protection systems for effectiveness and compliance.
• Work with clients to understand their requirements and provide solutions.
• Train junior team members in fire safety principles and practices.
• Leverage modelling software to create accurate fire safety assessments.
• Participate in project meetings to ensure fire safety standards are met.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering or related field
• Completion of fire safety-related training programs is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years in fire safety engineering or associated disciplines

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• Fire Modeling Software

Soft Skills

• Critical Thinking
• Team Leadership

Certifications

• Fire Safety Engineering Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in the mining or oil & gas sectors: Knowledge of industry-specific fire safety regulations and practices.
• Bilingual in Mandarin or Spanish: Proficiency in a second language is a plus.
