Job Description

As a Forge Shop Supervisor, you will oversee all aspects of our forge shop operations. You'll ensure all production processes are running efficiently while maintaining quality and safety standards. Your leadership will guide a skilled team to achieve production goals.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily operations of the forge shop, ensuring quality and production targets are achieved.
  • Lead safety meetings and enforce safety regulations among staff.
  • Identify areas for process improvements and lead initiatives to enhance productivity.
  • Liaise with suppliers and logistics teams to manage material flow.
  • Drive team collaboration to reach production and quality goals.
  • Implement lean manufacturing principles to optimise operations.
  • Evaluate employee performance and provide constructive feedback.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
  • Advanced Diploma in Engineering is advantageous
Experience
  • 5+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
