We're on the lookout for a highly skilled Blockchain Developer to join our dynamic team in Newcastle. In this role, you will work closely with our tech team to design, implement, and manage decentralised applications and smart contracts, ensuring robust security and performance across our systems.

Responsibilities

• Architect scalable blockchain solutions for diverse projects.
• Optimise existing blockchain applications for better performance.
• Conduct research to explore new blockchain technologies.
• Document development processes and deploy applications.
• Provide expert guidance on best coding practices in blockchain development.
• Support continuous integration and deployment processes.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred.

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in blockchain development

Technical Skills

• Hyperledger
• Decentralized Finance (DeFi)

Certifications

• Certified Blockchain Expert

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with blockchain scaling solutions: Experience with Layer 2 scaling solutions and sidechains would be a plus.
