We are on the lookout for a Mechanical Engineer to join our team based in Geelong. The successful candidate will play a critical role in designing and implementing mechanical systems and solutions. You will work on a variety of projects, collaborating with a talented team to ensure high-quality engineering outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Innovate and develop new mechanical designs.
• Utilise CAD software for drafting and modeling.
• Collaborate with procurement to specify materials and components.
• Assist in developing cost estimates for engineering projects.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement risk mitigation strategies.
• Review and approve design changes and modifications.
• Participate in client meetings and presentations.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes and workflows.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Professional Engineering Certification is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and project management

Technical Skills

• 3D Modelling
• System Integration

Soft Skills

• Leadership

Certifications

• Certified SolidWorks Professional (CSWP)
• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
