Job Description

We are looking for a Piping Designer who can contribute significantly to our projects by providing detailed piping designs and specifications. You will work closely with multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring adherence to project objectives and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop comprehensive piping systems for industrial applications.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success.
• Select materials suitable for different environments and project requirements.
• Conduct detailed stress and pressure calculations.
• Prepare and present project documentation to stakeholders.
• Supervise and mentor junior team members.
• Adhere to safety and quality standards throughout the design process.
• Maintain effective communication with clients and suppliers.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the piping design process.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field

Experience

• 5+ years of practical experience in piping design for industrial projects

Technical Skills

• AutoPIPE
• Plant 3D

Soft Skills

• Communication

Certifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in oil and gas or petrochemical industries: Background in projects specifically within oil and gas or petrochemical sectors.
• Knowledge of stress analysis and pipe support design: Experienced in performing stress analysis and designing pipe supports.
