Job Description

The Mixing and Blending Machine Setters, Operators, and Tenders will oversee the mixing and blending processes, ensuring quality and efficiency in producing high-quality automotive finishing materials.

Responsibilities

• Monitor mixing processes and maintain quality standards.
• Adjust machine settings based on production needs and specifications.
• Document production output and report any issues to the supervisor.
• Train and assist new operators in machine operation.
• Participate in regular safety inspections and equipment checks.
• Collaborate with quality control staff to ensure product standards are met.
• Perform troubleshooting on equipment malfunctions as needed.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Certificate IV in Manufacturing (Finishing Stream) or equivalent is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience operating mixing and blending equipment.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Principles
• Inventory Management Software

Soft Skills

Certifications

• Lean Manufacturing Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in a leadership or supervisory role: Prior experience leading teams in a manufacturing setting.
