Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Mechanical Engineer to drive our projects in Geelong. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing mechanical systems and solutions that meet rigorous industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical systems and components based on project requirements.
• Collaborate closely with project managers and other engineers to ensure timely delivery.
• Conduct testing and analysis to verify the integrity of designs and materials.
• Provide support and guidance during the manufacturing process.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for designs and specifications.
• Identify areas for improvement and devise innovative solutions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and development

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• Thermodynamics
• Mechanical Systems Design

Soft Skills

• Attention to Detail
• Leadership

Certifications

• Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of automation and robotics: Experience with automation technologies and robotic systems in engineering applications.
• Familiarity with environmental regulations: Understanding and application of environmental regulations relevant to engineering.
