Job Description

The role of Crossing Guards and Flaggers involves ensuring the safety and security of passengers, staff, and property within the subway system. You will monitor subway stations, assist passengers, and respond to emergencies promptly.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the secure environment of subway stations and platforms.
• Educate passengers on safety protocols.
• Act as a liaison between passengers and safety personnel.
• Conduct safety audits to identify potential threats.
• Assist with the implementation of safety plans.
• Collaborate with a range of stakeholders to improve safety measures.
• Report on safety compliance and make recommendations.
• Maintain calm during emergencies and escalate issues as necessary.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Advanced Diploma in Security Management is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of relevant experience preferred
