Metal Coater Operator

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a talented Metal Coater Operator. In this position, you will operate metal coating equipment, prepare surfaces for coating, and ensure that all processes meet our quality assurance standards. Strong attention to detail is essential.

Responsibilities

• Set up machinery and equipment for coating processes.
• Keep accurate logs of production and maintenance tasks.
• Inspect finished products for defects to ensure quality.
• Communicate effectively with team members regarding production goals.
• Train new operators on equipment and safety protocols.
• Identify areas for process improvement and recommend solutions.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and procedures.
• Assist in the development of new coating processes or products.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Engineering - Metal Fabrication Trade (Coating)
• Trade qualification in Metal Fabrication

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in metal coating operations

Languages
