Job Description

As a Conservation Scientist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing erosion and sediment control plans for various construction projects. You will ensure compliance with environmental regulations while collaborating with teams to maintain sustainable practices.

Responsibilities

• Deliver genetic counseling services tailored to patient needs.
• Assess risk for genetic conditions through detailed evaluations.
• Support patients through the testing process and ensure clarity in results interpretation.
• Facilitate education sessions for families regarding genetic disorders.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care strategies.
• Document comprehensive patient interactions while adhering to privacy regulations.
• Contribute to clinical trials and research initiatives.
• Mentor new genetic counseling staff and assist in their professional development.
• Enhance genetic counseling programs by integrating new research findings.
• Lead workshops and training sessions for healthcare professionals.

Requirements

Education

• PhD in Genetics or a related field
• Postgraduate coursework in Genetic Counseling is desirable

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in clinical genetic counseling preferred

• National Police Check (NPC) clearance
