Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Pharmacist to serve the Mackay community by offering personalized patient care and medication management. Your duties will include dispensing prescriptions, counselling patients on drug interactions and side effects, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimise patient health outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Dispense medications and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
• Provide medication therapy management and counselling services to patients.
• Monitor patient health outcomes and adjust medication regimens as necessary.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to design and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients on health and wellness strategies related to their medications.
• Maintain accurate and complete records of patient interactions and pharmacotherapy.
• Assist with inventory management and the ordering of pharmaceutical products.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
• Registered as a Pharmacist in Queensland

Experience

• 1+ years of experience in a pharmacy setting
