Job Description

As a Hand Tile Maker, you'll create beautiful and unique handmade tiles using traditional techniques. Collaboration with our design team will be key to ensuring your creations meet the needs of our customers.

Responsibilities

• Produce unique handcrafted tiles that meet client specifications.
• Perform quality checks on all finished products.
• Operate tile-making machinery with precision.
• Work closely with the design team to bring concepts to life.
• Assist in the management of stock levels and raw materials.
• Participate in ongoing education about tile craft techniques.
• Provide mentorship to new team members.
• Collaborate in team meetings to discuss project progress.
• Ensure all workspaces are organized and tools are stored correctly.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma or Certificate in Ceramic Arts or a related field
• Apprenticeship in traditional tile making is advantageous

Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in traditional tile making

Technical Skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with 3D Printing: Knowledge and practical experience in using 3D printing technology in tile making.
