Mica Inspector

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Mica Inspector to join our quality assurance team in Melbourne. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting mica products to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the inspection and testing of mica materials and components.
• Implement and update inspection procedures for consistent quality.
• Liaise with production and engineering teams to address quality issues.
• Maintain accurate records and reports on inspection results.
• Support the development of quality management systems.
• Ensure proper handling and testing of materials using specific equipment.
• Participate in internal audits and quality assessments.
• Assist in training and mentoring team members.
• Challenge existing processes and suggest improvements.
• Utilize statistical process control methods for quality evaluation.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant degree in Engineering or a related field

Experience

• 4 years of experience in a quality assurance role, particularly with mica materials.

Certifications

• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
