Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous Diamond Grader to join our talented team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for examining and grading diamonds to ensure they meet quality standards, playing a crucial role in the jewelry manufacturing process.

Responsibilities

• Utilize grading software and magnifying tools to evaluate diamonds comprehensively.
• Provide feedback on stock quality and recommend improvements for inventory.
• Prepare samples for client presentations and exhibitions.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards when handling diamonds and grading equipment.
• Contribute to process optimizations and enhancements in grading practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Gemology or a related field
• Postgraduate qualification in Gemmology is advantageous

Experience

• 2-3 years of experience in the jewelry production or grading industry

Technical Skills

• Gemstone Identification
• Quality Control Processes

Soft Skills

• Teamwork

Certifications

• GIA Certified Gemologist
• Certificate in Diamond Grading

Languages

• English: Fluent
