Job Description

We are seeking a committed and skilled Hospitalist Medical Doctor to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing patient care within the hospital, working closely with nursing staff and specialists to provide comprehensive treatment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive medical care to hospitalized patients.
  • Coordinate with specialists as required for multi-disciplinary treatment.
  • Manage patient symptoms and monitor treatment efficacy.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and families regarding care plans.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Document patient care activities and maintain accurate medical records.
  • Contribute to hospital committees aimed at improving healthcare delivery.
  • Participate in training and continuing education programs.
  • Support a patient-centered approach in all medical practices.
  • Engage in research opportunities as they arise.

Requirements

Education
  • Medical degree from an accredited institution
  • Specialist certification in a related field such as Geriatrics or Palliative Care is advantageous.
Experience
  • Prior experience in hospital medicine preferred.
