Job Description

As a Circular Head Saw Operator at TimberTech Australia, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining circular saws to ensure the precision cutting of timber. Your role is crucial in upholding the quality standards of our timber products while adhering to safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate and adjust circular saws for optimal performance.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Communicate effectively with team members regarding production needs.
• Conduct quality checks on finished timber products.
• Document any deviations from production goals.
• Assist with the onboarding of new team members.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certificate III in Sawmilling and Processing or equivalent (preferred)

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role in the timber industry.
