Job Description

In the role of Sewing Machine Operator, your key responsibilities include preparing and basting vests, inspecting the finished products for quality assurance, and working collaboratively with your team to meet production deadlines—all while maintaining a safe and organized workspace.

Responsibilities

• Prepare materials and equipment for vest production.
• Operate industrial sewing machines with precision.
• Ensure careful monitoring of basting for quality assurance.
• Inspect and rectify any defects in the finished products.
• Contribute to a collaborative team environment.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
• Participate in training sessions and skill enhancement workshops.
• Assist in inventory management and stock control.
• Assist in troubleshooting minor machine issues.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Experience

• 1-2 years experience in the textile industry preferred

Technical Skills

• Experience with industrial sewing machines
• Quality control processes

Soft Skills

• Analytical skills
• Teamwork

Languages

• English: Fluent
