Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Layout Worker to be part of our precision team, responsible for ensuring layouts are accurate and meet project specifications across multiple sectors including construction and refurbishment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed measurements and calculations.
• Utilise advanced precision tools and equipment for layout tasks.
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure layout accuracy.
• Document and maintain records of layout activities.
• Adhere to industry safety standards and protocols.
• Continuously update knowledge of layout techniques and technologies.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade (Precision Layout Worker)

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in precision layout work

Technical Skills

• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings
• Experience using measurement tools

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
• Effective communication skills
• Strong organisational abilities

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in a similar industry: Preferred experience in construction or engineering sectors.
• Familiarity with CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks): Experience in using CAD tools for layout creation.
