Job Description

As a Metal Buildings Assembler, you will play a crucial role in assembling and installing metal structures. The successful candidate will interpret blueprints, measure materials, and collaborate with a team to ensure timely project completion while adhering to safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and follow technical drawings and plans.
• Install metal frames, walls, roofs, and cladding.
• Measure and cut materials to size.
• Assemble metal components using hand and power tools.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Conduct regular safety checks on tools and machinery.
• Provide feedback on material quality and project progress.
• Assist in training new employees on best practices.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements

Education

• Trade qualifications in a related field preferred
• Certificate IV in Building and Construction is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in metal building assembly or construction.

Technical Skills

• Metal Fabrication

Languages

• English: Fluent
