Responsibilities

• File tax returns for various clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Advise clients on tax deductions and credits available to them.
• Collaborate with accounting teams to provide holistic tax solutions.
• Maintain and update client records and tax documents.
• Monitor deadlines for submissions and liaise with clients accordingly.
• Conduct tax assessments and risk analyses for clients.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance tax knowledge.
• Assist clients in resolving tax disputes with the Australian Tax Office.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) qualification is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in taxation or accounting

Certifications

• Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA)

Languages

• English: Fluent
