Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Environmental Engineer to join our team in Townsville. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental assessment, sustainable design, and project management. You will play a crucial role in developing solutions that minimise environmental impact while ensuring compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and mitigate environmental risks for projects.
  • Coordinate with clients to understand project goals and challenges.
  • Implement best practices in environmental management.
  • Compile and analyse environmental data.
  • Advise on the integration of sustainable practices into project design.
  • Prepare and submit regulatory compliance documentation.
  • Conduct training sessions on environmental awareness and compliance.
  • Collaborate with engineers to ensure sustainability in designs.
  • Monitor biophysical conditions in project areas.
  • Support environmental education and outreach efforts.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or relevant area
  • Master's degree in Environmental Engineering is an advantage
Experience
  • 5+ years in environmental project management
