Job Description

As a Fabric Lay Out Worker, you will be essential in preparing fabrics for cutting and sewing processes. Your attention to detail and ability to interpret patterns will ensure efficient production.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret work orders to ensure proper fabric preparation.
• Prepare fabric for cutting by positioning it accurately based on patterns.
• Conduct quality inspections on fabric before it enters the cutting process.
• Maintain an organised inventory of fabrics and materials.
• Follow all safety protocols in the production environment.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to enhance production efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant vocational qualification preferred

Experience

• Prior experience in textile manufacturing is a plus

Technical Skills

• CAD/CAM software proficiency
• Basic sewing knowledge

Soft Skills

• Strong communication skills
• Adaptability
