We are looking for a detail-oriented Financial Risk Specialist responsible for analysing financial statements and economic data to guide investment decisions. The ideal candidate will conduct comprehensive industry research, prepare detailed reports, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Job Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough financial analysis and assess risks associated with potential investments.
  • Monitor market trends and changes to inform investment strategies.
  • Create predictive models based on historical data and trends.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advise on risk management strategies.
  • Assist in developing risk assessment framework and protocols.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations on investment opportunities and risks.
  • Engage with clients to understand their financial objectives and risk appetite.
  • Support the internal audit process by providing necessary documentation and reports.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics or a related field
  • Master's degree in Finance or related field is a plus
  • Microsoft Excel Highly proficient in financial modelling and data analysis.
  • Bloomberg Terminal Advanced use of Bloomberg for market data and analysis.
  • Python Basic to intermediate skills in Python for data manipulation.
  • Analytical thinking Exceptional ability to analyse complex data sets.
  • Communication Strong verbal and written communication skills essential for client interaction.
  • CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst)
  • FRM (Financial Risk Manager)
  • English (Fluent)
Advantageous
  • Proficiency in alternative data sources: Experience using alternative data to inform investment strategies.
  • Experience with statistical analysis tools: Experience with tools such as SAS, SPSS, or similar for financial analysis.
