Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled Accountant to join our team in Gold Coast. This role will involve managing financial transactions, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset and a passion for numbers, contributing significantly to our client’s financial health.

Responsibilities

• Develop financial reports to assist in strategic decision-making.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
• Manage payroll and ensure timely payment to employees.
• Ensure accurate filing of taxes and compliance with deadlines.
• Provide training and support to junior accounting staff.
• Assist in the implementation of financial software and tools.
• Keep abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation.
• Work closely with management to align financial strategy with business goals.
• Prepare and submit VAT and GST returns.
• Perform risk assessments and develop risk management strategies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles
