As a Tax Consultant, you'll be instrumental in advising clients on tax strategies and compliance. Your expertise will help individuals and businesses optimise their tax positions and navigate the complexities of the Australian tax system. Responsibilities

• Evaluate complex tax situations and provide strategic tax planning advice.
• Conduct tax compliance audits for various clients.
• Mentor junior tax staff and provide training on tax regulations.
• Review client financial statements and assess tax implications.
• Stay abreast of changes in tax legislation and advise clients accordingly.
• Participate in business development activities to attract new clients.
• Assist clients in resolving tax disputes with the Australian Taxation Office.
• Enhance existing tax processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Economics or Business
• Master's degree in Taxation or related field is advantageous

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in tax advisory roles

• Tax Legislation Knowledge

Certifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent
• Registered Tax Agent
