Job Description

We are on the lookout for an IT Support Specialist to join our dedicated team in Hobart. In this role, you will provide critical IT support to our staff, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and ensure that our systems run smoothly. If you're passionate about technology and helping others, this position is perfect for you. You'll be responsible for maintaining IT infrastructure and responding to technical queries.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for IT support issues.
  • Assist with on-boarding new staff with IT setup and training.
  • Identify recurring issues and implement solutions for the long term.
  • Work with the IT team to ensure all systems are backed up and recoverable.
  • Maintain knowledge of current IT infrastructure and services.
  • Conduct regular training sessions on software and tools usage.
  • Facilitate communication between IT and other departments.
  • Stay updated on the latest technologies and propose improvements.
  • Provide remote support as needed to employees offsite.
  • Document all relevant solutions in the knowledge base.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
Experience
  • 3+ years of IT support experience, preferably in a corporate environment
