As a Government Property Inspector and Investigator, you will play a crucial role in administering and overseeing the Section 8 rental assistance program. Your responsibilities will include inspecting properties to ensure they meet compliance standards and providing support to both tenants and landlords.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the application and approval process for Section 8 housing.
• Ensure all properties and tenants comply with relevant housing regulations.
• Assist clients in navigating housing options and provide support for issues that arise.
• Compile reports on program activities and outcomes for management review.
• Foster positive relationships with landlords and community partners.
• Utilize data management systems for efficient record keeping.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in public administration or related field
• Advanced degree preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in government housing programs or a related field
