Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable Tax Consultant to join our growing team in Adelaide. In this role, you'll provide expert tax advice, handle client inquiries, and ensure compliance with local tax laws. The right candidate will work to build lasting relationships with clients, helping them navigate complex tax legislation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert tax consultation to a varied client portfolio.
• Ensure accurate and timely filing of tax documents and returns.
• Advise clients on tax strategies to optimize their financial positions.
• Monitor compliance with tax regulations and inform clients of implications.
• Support the preparation of tax budgets and forecasts.
• Work collaboratively within the finance team to enhance service delivery.
• Maintain detailed records of client interactions and advice given.
• Assist in audit processes and prepare necessary documentation.

Requirements

Education

• Master’s degree in Taxation or equivalent

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in taxation or accounting roles

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• CPA or CA qualification: Professional qualifications will be highly regarded.
• Experience with accounting software (e.g. Xero, MYOB): Familiarity with accounting systems used in Australia.
