As a Slunk Skin Curer at Slunk Skin Care, you will play a vital role in preparing and curing skins from various slunk animals. Responsibilities

• Conduct quality inspections of cured skins to ensure standards are met.
• Implement improvements in the curing process based on feedback.
• Engage in ongoing training on new curing methods and technologies.
• Perform regular maintenance on curing equipment to ensure efficiency.
• Coordinate with suppliers for materials necessary for skin curation.
• Assist in product development by providing insights on skin types and qualities.

Requirements

Education

• Secondary School Certificate or equivalent
• Diploma in Leather Technology preferred but not essential

Experience

• A minimum of 2 years' experience in slunk skin curing or related field

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of slunk animal skin characteristics
• Curing equipment operation

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
• Problem-solving

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in tanning other animal skins: Familiarity with various skin types and their tanning processes.
• Supervisory experience: Experience in training or supervising junior staff in a production environment.
