Job Description

As a Faith Doctor, you will provide spiritual guidance and support to individuals in healthcare settings. Your role involves conducting spiritual assessments, offering personalized counseling, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care is delivered to patients. This position requires deep religious knowledge and empathetic communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct individual and group spiritual counseling sessions.
  • Implement programs that promote spiritual health and resilience.
  • Engage patients in dialogue about their faith and beliefs.
  • Support families in making end-of-life decisions consistent with their values.
  • Educate staff on the importance of spiritual care in patient treatment.
  • Maintain an open-door policy for staff and patients seeking spiritual support.
  • Create personalized spiritual resources for patients.
  • Promote a compassionate environment that respects diverse beliefs.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Counseling or Social Work
  • Master's degree is a plus
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in spiritual care, counseling, or social work
