Private Detective / Alarm Investigator

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Alarm Investigator to investigate and resolve security alarm activations for residential and commercial properties. You will work closely with law enforcement to ensure public safety and provide top-notch security advice.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, analyse, and respond to alarm systems' activations and security breaches.
• Perform risk assessments and recommend improvements to existing security measures.
• Document all findings and compile comprehensive reports for management and client review.
• Liaise with law enforcement for incident response and resolution.
• Supervise and coordinate with subcontractors during security assessments.
• Assist clients in understanding alarm systems and their functionalities.
• Stay updated on the latest security technologies and trends to better serve clients.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Security Operations
• Diploma in Security Management is preferable

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in security operations or investigations.

Technical Skills

• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Advanced computer skills

Soft Skills

• Effective communication skills
• Strong customer service skills

Certifications

• First Aid and CPR Certified
• Advanced Security Risk Management Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Advanced skills in data analysis: Ability to interpret and analyse data related to security incidents.
• Hands-on experience with surveillance systems: Familiarity with operating and troubleshooting various types of surveillance equipment.
