Job Description

As a Firestop Worker, you will be instrumental in safeguarding lives and properties by installing fire protection barriers and systems. Your responsibilities will involve interpreting blueprints, and collaborating with engineers and architects to ensure compliance with fire safety regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development of fire protection strategies for new projects.
  • Utilize AutoCAD for layout designs related to firestop systems.
  • Coordinate with other trades on-site to ensure smooth installations.
  • Report and troubleshoot any installation challenges.
  • Ensure all work is completed efficiently and adheres to quality standards.

Requirements

Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Certificate III in Construction or similar
Experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in fire protection systems
Technical Skills
  • Knowledge of Australian building codes
  • Fireproofing techniques

Certifications
  • Advanced Firestop Installer Certification

Languages
