Job Description

As an Extrusion Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining extrusion machinery while ensuring that production targets are met. You’ll work in a dynamic manufacturing environment where attention to detail and quality assurance are paramount.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular maintenance and cleaning of machinery to ensure longevity.
  • Monitor production to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Document any issues and escalate them to supervisors when necessary.
  • Conduct quality control tests to maintain product consistency.
  • Assist in the optimisation of machine settings for various plastic materials.
  • Team up with engineering staff to enhance process efficiencies.
  • Participate in safety training and workshops.
  • Actively contribute to team goals and performance metrics.
  • Maintain accurate records of production output and downtime.
  • Assist in audits and compliance checks.

Requirements

Education
  • Certificate III in Manufacturing (Plastics)
  • Current Forklift License
Experience
  • 1-3 years of experience in a similar role in a manufacturing environment.
