Job Description

As a Billet Straightener, you'll play a crucial role in our manufacturing process. You'll be responsible for straightening metal billets using specialized equipment. We seek detail-oriented individuals who understand the importance of quality and safety in the fabrication industry.

Responsibilities

• Operate straightening machines and presses safely and effectively.
• Review technical drawings to ensure specifications are met.
• Conduct regular maintenance checks on equipment.
• Support the training of new team members as required.
• Document production outputs and report on weekly progress.
• Participate in safety meetings and training sessions.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade is preferred

Experience

• Experience in metal fabrication or manufacturing operations is essential

Technical Skills

• Metal Properties Knowledge
• Mechanical Press Operation

Soft Skills

• Reliability
• Communication Skills

Certifications

• Welding Certification
• Forklift License

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with CNC machinery: Knowledge of CNC operations can be beneficial.
