Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Chief Gauger to oversee gauging operations within our oil and gas company based in Perth. The ideal candidate will ensure precise measurement and reporting of quantities of oil and gas products during production and transportation. You will lead a team of gauging professionals, coordinating efforts with other departments to ensure efficiency and compliance with industry regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of gauging operations in line with industry standards.
• Provide mentorship and training to upskill gauging personnel.
• Ensure all gauging equipment is maintained and calibrated consistently.
• Generate comprehensive reports detailing gauging metrics.
• Work cross-functionally to streamline gauging operations.
• Monitor compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Implement new technologies to improve gauging accuracy.
• Assist in budget preparation and cost control measures.
• Participate in internal audits to assess operational risks.
• Promote a culture of safety and accountability within the gauging team.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
• Relevant certifications in gauging operations

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in gauging operations, preferably in the oil and gas industry
